A unique and highly adventurous experience in the Swiss Alps. Four students from the Senior School have been selected to participate in the NAE Alpine Glazier Mountaineering Expedition.
The expedition will be held during the summer vacation from 3rd July 2015 to the 10th July 2015 in the Swiss Alps.
This expedition is aimed at those students who have passion for adventure and exploration, students who would like to push themselves physically and mentally whilst learning about glacial environments and glacial travel.
Students will be accompanied and guided by world class mountain guides who will coach them through all aspects of alpinism. Students will have the opportunity to summit remote alpine peaks, stay in wild mountain huts and travel through pristine landscapes.
Our Year 7 students went on two amazing trips to Sibu Island, Malaysia, for their year group residential. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and immersed in a vibrant new culture, students had the chance to connect with their friends and make memories that will last forever.
