Years 8 and 9 students have the opportunity to attend mountaineering camp in Les Martinets, Switzerland in June 2017
We are pleased to inform you that DCIS students in Years 8 and 9 have the opportunity to attend our mountaineering camp in Les Martinets, Switzerland in June 2017. The trip is run under the Global Campus Personal Challenge Expedition and is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, enabling students to stretch their mental and physical limits in a safe and fun environment. Last year's trip (pictured above) was a massive success and all participants had an incredible experience.
The goal of this expedition is to teach perseverance and challenge students to push their own limits. Set in the breath-taking Swiss Alps, students undertake a journey through mountains while working in teams to overcome basic challenges such as cooking and navigation.

The approximate cost of the trip is S$2,000 which includes the cost of flights, accommodation, in-country transport, food and all excursions.
