The Years 4-6 Art ECA group have spent the last few weeks practising their observational drawing skills through a range of exercises such as blind drawing, continuous line drawing and even upside down drawing! This week they made their own viewfinders and ventured into Dover Court’s beautiful garden. They chose an area of particular interest and used their viewfinders to help focus in on a small section to draw in detail. The children created fabulous observational sketches of the plants and flowers they could see.
