Our Online Safety Parent Workshop outlined key concerns surrounding the internet and social media, regulations around the internet and young people and provided practical tips for parents to take away.
On Tuesday 14th November, Mrs. Rinaldi presented the Online Safety Workshop for a range of Primary and Secondary parents.
The presentation outlined some of the key concerns surrounding the internet and social media, highlighted with two pertinent videos, some of the regulations around the internet and young people, plus some practical tips for parents to take away and share with their children.
Mrs. Rinaldi also provided two key documents for parents, giving advice and resources. These two documents can also be found below.
One of the key messages was about communication: starting a dialogue with your son or daughter about their internet use and keeping in touch with school if there are any concerns.
