The Mandarin Flea Market Project Our Year 5 students set up a flea market in their classrooms during Mandarin lesson.

Our Year 5 students enjoyed setting up a real flea market in the classroom during Mandarin.

During this term's Mandarin lessons, our Year 5 students have learned words and sentences related to shopping for clothing and accessories in a Chinese context. To round up the topic the students got to set up a real flea market in the classroom. It was great to see how enthusiastic the students were and how they all enjoyed buying, selling and bargaining for a cheaper price. All money collected were donated to ACRES (Animal Concerns and Research Education Society).

We would like to thank all the parents for their support and the students for their hard work and participation in this event.
