The children, the teaching staff and volunteers had a fantastic time! We were first shown a variety of science experiments using liquid nitrogen, and the children were in awe. Next ice cream was made using the liquid nitrogen to freeze it quickly – yum (but please don’t try this at home!) Finally we got to explore the Snow City, with many children experiencing snow for the first time. Activities included slides, secret huts and igloos, making snow angels, climbing and tubing! We returned back to school with tired but happy children, and lots of soggy clothes!
