A quick update from Europe!
We are delighted to share an update from our group of students currently stationed at the NAE expedition centre in Les Martinets.
Over the last two days the students have been split into three groups. Mr O’Shea and the advanced trekkers have headed off into the mountains on their 4-day trek and have experienced fabulous weather to start them off! It’s going well, they are halfway there now! Only half left to go!
Ms Cooper's group of seven has ventured up to the glacier and also experienced some of the local sights and delicacies during a trip to the town of Gruyère.
Ms Harris' group of six students has just completed their 2-day hike up to Cabin Barraud. They have just got back to rest their feet having done a spectacular 23km hike carrying everything they needed to sleep in and eat over two days. A fantastic achievement!
The students have already made some fantastic friends from Mexico and Florida and are looking forward to switching tomorrow to see what the other group have already enjoyed!
