The students have had an action packed first day at the Nord Anglia regional STEAM Festival.
Yesterday morning the students had to use a puzzle piece to find their team members, as they were mixed in with all the other children from different Nord Anglia schools. Following this they gave their presentations about an extreme environment, which they had researched, to their new group members. Within their teams, they chose one extreme environment for which they were challenged to design and create a prototype of a device, that would be able to capture an image in this extreme location.
Today will be all about reflecting and improving their designs before presenting them at an 'Expo'. They have been earning 'MIT points' throughout the day by showing great collaboration, creativity and inquiry skills.
