DCA Fright Night

DCA Fright Night DCIS celebrated Halloween 2022 with DCA Fright Night on campus.

On this crescent moon night of 28 October 2022, did you hear the spirits whispering? The witches cackling or the werewolves howling, and mummies stomping around Dover Road?

The Dover Court Association (DCA) resurrected zombies and ghoulish creatures this Halloween - some of them small and adorable - to celebrate DCA Fright Night 2022 on the campus of Dover Court International School.

Families were spellbound and treated to many boo-tiful game stalls at the Red Dot Restaurant, organised by dedicated and fang-tastic parent volunteers. Children enjoyed dipping their hands into gooey bowls of eyeballs, err jelly beads, throwing bean bags into jack-o'-lanterns, tossing rings through ghostly milk jars, and receiving creepy crawly candies for participating.

Brave ones queued to enter the foggy House of Horrors where a witch with her bubbling cauldron together with wizard's books and potions that were on standby for spiteful sorcery, and a bountiful dining table of apples and limbs awaited.

Children could get hands-on at the Primary Canteen by creating their own decorated trick-or-treat bags.

For more double, double toil and trouble, they danced the freaky night away at the DJ's disco party in the Cooper Hall while others sought some respite from the frenzy and frightfulness by watching Halloween movies in the Music Room and IB Common Room.

The Travelling Cow Food Truck fed hungry beauties and beasts devouring their dinners under the moonlight.

Memories of this phantasmic evening were captured at the photo booth by the Sensory Garden.

We thank all families for participating in a ghastly fashion, parent volunteers who assisted behind the scenes, and the school administration for their support in making this a spooktacular event!
