Dover Court Students won 57 medals at 2023 FOBISIA U11 Sports Competition - FOBISIA U11 Sports
Congratulations Wolves!

24 students performed admirably at the U11 2023 Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) Games, winning a total of 57 medals throughout the week from 9 – 13 May in Pattana Sports Resort.

They displayed great sportsmanship and formed friendships with students from other schools. The pool events and sports fields provided exciting moments, and the track events were intense. The pool was a standout, with 23 medals, including some students winning up to 4 individual gold medals.

Despite tough opponents and scorching temperatures, the children remained resilient and earned a bronze medal in Tee Ball. The challenging weather persisted, but the football tournaments proceeded, with both boys and girls demonstrating commitment and sportsmanship. The boys secured a silver medal, while the girls made a remarkable comeback, clinching a bronze medal through a penalty shootout.

The tournament concluded with impressive relay performances, resulting in an overall third-place finish in Athletics. The event wrapped up with a gala dinner, where the children's joy and exhaustion were evident.

The staff members are immensely proud of the children's performance and their positive attitude throughout. The children exemplified championship qualities and received high praise from parents and teachers from other schools for their conduct on and off the field.
