Dover Court International School (DCIS) welcomed families, staff, and special guests for a dual celebration: the opening of the Year 13 IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition States of Flux and the official launch of our new Sixth Form Centre. We were honoured to have HE Nikesh Mehta, British High Commissioner to Singapore, join us for this milestone occasion, which highlighted Dover Court’s commitment to creativity, academic excellence, and future ready education.

Bringing these two events together created an inspiring evening that highlighted both the creativity of our graduating artists and the exciting future ahead for our Sixth Form community.

Year 13 IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition: States of Flux
The annual Year 13 IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition offered a special preview of the extraordinary work produced by our students over their two year IBDP journey. This year’s showcase, States of Flux, featured a striking mix of media, including photography, painting and drawing, sculpture, textiles, digital art and installation pieces.
The exhibition explored an array of personal and global themes – from feminism and decay to marine damage, identity, and personal growth. Each space was intentionally curated, reflecting both the individuality of the artist and the depth of their creative process.
The evening provided a meaningful moment for parents, friends, and teachers to celebrate not only the final artworks but the reflection, experimentation, and development that shaped them. We are incredibly proud of this Year 13 cohort and everything they have achieved.

Opening of the Sixth Form Centre: A Space Designed for Futures
The event also marked the official opening of our new Sixth Form Centre, a purpose-built, two storey hub designed to support student wellbeing, independent learning, and university preparation.

The design places student needs at the forefront, creating an environment where independence, agency, and holistic wellbeing are supported every day.

A Message from Our Interim Principal
“The Sixth Form Centre represents a significant step forward for our school. It gives our students a space that is truly their own — a place designed to nurture confidence, independence, and ambition. Standing here alongside the creativity of our Year 13 artists, I’m reminded of the extraordinary potential of our young people. This centre, and evenings like this, celebrate who they are now and who they are becoming.” — Chris Short, Interim Principal, Dover Court International School
A Future-Focused Sixth Form Experience
With strong outcomes across the IB Diploma Programme and BTEC routes, our Sixth Form continues to offer diverse, personalised academic journeys supported by expert guidance. The opening of the Sixth Form Centre marks a new chapter, expanding the opportunities available to students as they prepare for life beyond school.
A Memorable Evening for Our Community
Celebrating States of Flux alongside the launch of the Sixth Form Centre showcased the very best of Dover Court — creativity, ambition, community, and a powerful belief in the potential of every student.
