Linda graduated from the University of Sydney with Bachelor of Education (Primary).
Following her graduation, Linda worked in a public school in Sydney teaching across the Primary age range; from Kindergarten to Year 6. She has successfully taught Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 for the last 5 years and is delighted to be joining Year 4 at Dover Court.
Linda is passionate about creating engaging learning environments where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to challenge themselves. She strives to make learning enjoyable, creative, and meaningful, while also providing opportunities beyond the classroom that help students develop valuable life skills through problem-solving experiences. Through kindness and respect, Linda fosters independence and confidence in her students, empowering them to learn and progress at their own pace. She also has a strong interest in student-centred learning and encourages children to explore and pursue their individual interests.
Linda has led a range of sports teams and clubs across all key stages, including Newcombeball, debating, and senior dance, supporting students to participate in regional and inter-school competitions. She has been a key member of different community projects, including Education Week – a week-long project that celebrates student achievement and learning, as well as the valuable contributions of parents, teachers, and the wider school community to education. Linda has produced several red-carpet videos and whole school productions to celebrate student creativity and talent.
Having always wanted to see the world, Linda enjoys travelling and is working her way through visiting countries around the globe. She loves immersing herself in new cultures and takes great pleasure in learning new foods and languages, bringing those experiences into her everyday life. Linda values staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle by regularly going to the gym, doing Pilates, and enjoying the occasional game of pickleball.
