It's Back to School!

Mrs. Anna Davis
Mrs. Anna Davis (3 posts) Deputy Head of Secondary View Profile

It has been an exciting start to the year for BCB Secondary School. On Monday, our Year 7s and new students started their induction into the school, meeting their teachers and tutor groups. Parents joined in too during our first zoom information meeting of the year!

On Tuesday, we started the new academic year with a big bang - 193 students and teachers took part in the first Secondary School assembly! The excitement was high as everyone was pleased to see each other again and to meet new staff and peers.

There is no denying that this is not the start to the school year we were all hoping for but we are very happy to be together, to be a tight-knit community and to have a clear purpose. With strong student leadership and the pastoral care at the forefront of everything we do, we will all thrive as we develop our resilience and persevere through these challenging times.
