Mr. Jason Mclean

Head of Science and Secondary Science Teacher
Brazil, São Paulo

Working in BCB is extremely gratifying. Our students kind, respectable approach to life, along with their quirky sense of humour, makes every day a pleasant experience. Each and every day the students challenge themselves academically by involving themselves wholeheartedly in the international curriculum and do so with determination and commitment.

The sciences have always been the principal focus of my education. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science, I went on to gain my PGCE with Secondary Science and my UK qualified teacher status. I continue to be a student of science, deepening my knowledge and love of the subject daily.

I have spent the majority of my teaching career developing a science department that is capable of preparing students for life after school, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in life, particularly in the scientific field. My strategic approach enables each and everyone of our students to access the subject and make noticeable progress during their years.
