My previous experience in psychology showed me that it’s possible to work in a variety of ways and different areas, but I found that my true passion relies on schools and children.
I have also undertaken various courses related to children’s development (social, emotional, cognitive and physical), which awaken my desire to focus on my career in education.
In 2014 the Mackenzie Presbyterian University offered me a Scientific initiation scholarship and I had the opportunity to study more in depth the Autism Spectrum Disorder, and then present my final thesis in a congress. I am proud to share that, after much hard work, my thesis was published in a scientific magazine called Archives of Clinical Psychiatry.
As I’ve been working at BCB since 2018, I realized this is a great place to grow professionally; the school has offered me so many opportunities! I am delighted to now be part of the SEN team and it is a pleasure to further develop my skills whilst being part of this amazing team.
