Ivania Espeleta

Ivania Espeleta - Country Day School

I have been a school counselor since 2005. In 2012 I began working at Country Day School as the Early Childhood Counselor. I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to grow, every day, professionally and personally.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology  from Universidad Centroamericana de Ciencias Sociales (2004), a license as a clinical Psychologist by the Colegio de Psicólogos de Costa Rica. I also have a Master’s Degree in Pedagogy with Emphasis on Development and Comprehensive Early Childhood Care from Universidad Nacional (2009). In addition, I am certified in International Infant  Massage Instructor and Psychoanalytic Psychodrama. I have training in Conscious Discipline, Tribes, Intervention in Crisis in Situations of Disaster, CPR, and AED. I love professional learning and am constantly looking to increase my knowledge.

I like sports, in particular running. I am a marathon runner. I also enjoy going to music concerts and traveling both in Costa Rica and internationally.  My passion is to have new experiences which can I know new people and places
