I began my teaching career in 1993, at the Yamaha Music School in San Jose, Costa Rica where I was a student. I taught the Electone and Piano courses to 4 and 5 years old children for 5 years. While working, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Preschool Education from the University of Costa Rica.
Later, I finished a Masters Degree in Psychopedagogy. I have been teaching music in Country Day School since 1997. I love spending my time with young children and sharing the joy of music with them. I think their energy and desire to learn and have fun are contagious!
I live in Santa Ana, Costa Rica with my husband and my son. My passions are my family, exercising, practicing outdoor activities and spending time in nature. I believe immersing ourselves into nature gives the peace and energy we need to accomplish our everyday lives. I am lucky to live in this beautiful country, with amazing mountains, beaches and volcanoes to explore.
