Katia Delgado

Katia Delgado - Country Day School

Spanish Teacher

My name is Katia Delgado. I was born and grew up in Costa Rica.

When I finished High School, and always have loved children, I decided to study Preschool Education.

After I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education at the Universidad de Costa Rica, I worked for two years at a small Preschool as a daycare teacher.

While working, I started my master's in Psychopedagogy at Universidad La Salle, as I wanted to obtain more knowledge that allowed me to help children with learning disabilities effectively.  In 2008 I started to work at Country Day School, which has been my workplace for the last 12 years.  I am a Spanish teacher as a second language.

I enjoy dancing, going for walks, and going to the movies. I love crafts and I have a small jewelry company.
