I spent the last two years teaching social studies at an international school in Trinidad and Tobago. Before moving internationally, I taught history for 16 years at independent schools in Boston, Washington, DC, and in and around New York City. I hold a master’s degree in social studies education from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in history from Georgetown University.
When not in the classroom, you can find me training for open-water swim races, hiking, reading historical fiction, or traveling.
