I started working in Pan-American School as the Middle/High School Learning Specialist assistant for a year. After school, I worked in a center giving tutoring and remedial therapy to students from different private schools. After that, I became the Middle School Learning Specialist for 2 years and eventually continued working as the MYP 6th-10th grade Learning Specialist for 2 more years. During this time, I decided to take another academic challenge and started my second master’s degree in Educational Administration, graduating last November. After my great adventure at PAS, I worked in Blue Valley School for the past year as the 2nd-3rd grade counselor.
My mom and sister also work in education and the three of us are currently working at CDS. This has been incredibly motivating and I can see how the passion for education runs in our family. Being with my students is the best part of my day! I love seeing them grow as individuals and being a guide for them to achieve every single one of their goals. I love seeing them smile, coming happy to school, and being the support they need during the day. I am convinced that every child has his own learning style and his own time to learn, being able to respect that, and to support it is why I feel in love with education.
