I’m from Costa Rica, born and raised. Prior to CDS, I’ve worked at Saint Jude’s School, Pan-American School, and Saint Paul School, teaching Environmental Systems and Societies, Chemistry, Biology, and Research.
I studied Biology at Universidad de Costa Rica and in 2016 I graduated from UNED and obtained my teaching degree. In addition to those college degrees, I completed the Category I and II training for the International Baccalaureate course Environmental Systems and Societies.
My hobbies include swimming and CrossFit. Recently I participated in a CrossFit competition called Woodstock. Thanks to CF, I have had the opportunity to teach Fitness courses at Pan- American School and here at CDS during the elective. I swim on Saturday mornings. I also enjoy going to the beach with my family and five dogs.
