Pupils follow the English National Curriculum throughout the school, a highly regarded system of learning and examination. Secondary students will take the (I)GCSE and A Level examinations, equipping them to study anywhere in the world.
A high-quality languages education fosters pupils’ curiosity and deepens their understanding of the world.
At the British School Yangon, we aim to provide children in Early Years with educational experiences that will help them develop a positive approach to learning.
Learning is not limited to the classroom but can also take place on the sports field, preparing for a performance, through a community service project or in any one of the variety of activities that pupils regularly engage in at BSY.
Learning in the Secondary School is largely question-based, with an emphasis on problem solving, aiming to build up a pupil’s ability to reason and think independently.
Sixth form students at The British School Yangon (BSY) work towards obtaining AS and A-Level qualifications. Find out more about subjects offered, global network opportunities and university application guidance.
