About
Mr Chen was born and raised in Shanghai, China. He has been part of the BSY community since August 2017. As a research-informed and pedagogically trained Languages Other Than English (LOTE) teacher, he is well-versed in teaching Chinese language arts, Chinese as a second/foreign language and Chinese B Standard Level (SL) & Higher Level (HL) for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP).
In addition to teaching, he also serves as an IB examiner for Chinese B and a Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)' examiner for Mandarin. Out of school, he enjoys reading, traveling and learning about different cultures.
