About

Ms Finnegan has several years experience teaching year 3, 4 and 5 both in Asia and in the UK. She has thoroughly enjoyed nurturing the understanding and development of all the children she has taught so far, and is delighted to continue her teaching career as part of the BSY team.

Ms Finnegan is passionate about creating a learning environment in which children can grow in confidence, develop creatively and flourish in collaboration with others. She is a strong believer in the power of encouragement and is always delighted to see children achieving more than they dreamed they could.

In her free time, Ms Finnegan enjoys exploring nature, writing, reading and developing her understanding of psychology and global cultures, all passions which she loves to bring back to the classroom.
