Analisa Miró


Kinder – Pumas

  • M.Ed., Teaching English as a Second Language for Young Learners, University of Leeds – Leeds, United Kingdom

Analisa graduated from Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and then went on to receive her Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language to young learners from Leeds University in England. Analisa has been in education for 20 years. Her experience includes teaching in pre-school, lower elementary and college levels. She has coordinated several ESL programs and Early Childhood Programs. Analisa has also co-founded, and ran, for 11 years, a bilingual summer camp in the Dominican Republic. 

Analisa lived abroad for many years, most recently in Alaska; she moved back to her native Panama in 2007, where she now lives with her two daughters, two proud MET students in the Elementary School.
