I have had the pleasure over the last few days of reading through the school yearbooks for the academic year 2014-15 before they go off to the printers and as ever it is gratifying to have such a graphic and professionally produced record of the year we have shared together. This yearbook is of course extra special as we have been celebrating the tenth anniversary of the founding of our school.
The other thing that never fails to amaze is the sheer breadth of the activities and the richness of what is on offer during the course of the year. Both yearbooks are crammed with reports and photos of all of the exciting experiences we have packed in, both inside and outside the classroom. The primary and secondary publications are currently on sale, you will have received a note about it and the order form is available on the website. The yearbooks themselves will be available to pick up in the last week of term. Please don’t miss out on what is a memorable and high quality publication.
There are very few periods of the school year that can be said to be anything other than busy. There is a lot of teaching and learning to accommodate and it is always important to have a sense of purpose right through to the last few days of term. These last few weeks of the year are amongst the busiest with end of year exams, reports, the yearbooks, the Year 5 Residential Trip and the secondary Activities Week still to be completed. We are also continuing to work on our planning for next year. We are fine tuning the campus development programme for the summer holidays, putting the finishing touches to the calendar for the new academic year and starting to finalise the timetable and the class placements for next year. The information about the primary class groups will be available to parents early next week.
