Summer School Week Two Update

15 July 2015

Whisper it quietly but it seems summer has finally arrived.

If the early part of July’s unseasonable temperatures continued into this week, we might have been forced to rename our Summer School programme!

One of the coordinators from the Summer School has provided the following update on what occurred during week two of the camp.

  • Summer School 2015

''Week 2 is where things settle down nicely. The teachers will have learnt their students’ names and the students will have learnt what is expected of them. English continues to be learned and fun continues to be had by all. The older students researched their debate topic and began to learn how to write and deliver speeches. The other students continued having fun in the afternoons with the great activities offered by their teachers. Our youngest superheroes went from strength to strength learning English and enjoying fun sport, swimming, music and dance lessons. On Friday the superheroes had a mini sports day after which they enjoyed frozen watermelon which they had made earlier''

Have a great week everyone.
