Mandarin Classes Meet and Greet

10 September 2015

On Monday evening, we gave a warm welcome to the parents of the native Mandarin classes in primary and secondary school. We were delighted to have over 70 parents at our ‘Meet and Greet’ event.

  • Mandarin Classes Meet and Greet

Parents were given an introduction to the changes being made in the Mandarin department this year, following extensive consultation last year. They were introduced to Shirley Xie, Curriculum Leader with particular responsibility for the native language curriculum, and the Chinese parent’s representatives: Sophia Wise (primary school) and Joy Qiu (secondary school). Parents then had the opportunity to meet their child’s Mandarin teacher and to hear more about what was being covered this academic year in the classes.
