Reception Classes Visit to Local Kindergarten

The Reception classes have been invited to visit our local Chinese Zhudi Centre Kindergarten to take part in some traditional Chinese New Year cultural activities.   The children will take part in several craft activities, traditional shadow puppet storytelling, making of traditional New Year foods which they will be able to try, as well as watching a short play performed by some of the children.

The visit will be next week on Wednesday 13 January.

Each Reception class will be paired with a class from the Kindergarten (the children are all 4-5 years old) to participate in all the activities in turn.

We will be leaving school at approximately 9.15 am for a very short bus journey to Zhudi Centre Kindergarten School and return to BISS at approximately 12.00 pm. We will travel by private school bus and ensure that all children are wearing seat belts. We will arrange for a packed lunch for the children on our return to school.

Students will be required to wear uniform as normal on the day.

We will ensure that children are closely supervised at all times so they can be safe and have lots of fun learning. If you have any questions about this educational visit, please do not hesitate to contact me.
