STEAM Skills with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics make up the STEAM subjects. Our interdisciplinary approach to teaching science and technology gives your child the skills needed to thrive in the 21st century.
At Collège Champittet, our students and teachers work with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world’s most influential universities, to introduce this innovative way of learning the STEAM subjects. Students are encouraged to be creative and experimental. Through practical, hands-on problem solving, they learn how to develop resourcefulness and apply their skills to real-world situations.
Our collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) includes student visits to the prestigious university as well as regional conferences and in-school challenges, which encourage students to work together to find innovative and creative solutions to complex problems.
As part of this partnership, our STEAM teachers regularly participate in workshops at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). These workshops expose them to the forefront of STEAM research and thinking, so they can bring this knowledge into the classroom.
