Enhanced Learning

Collège Champittet joined the Nord Anglia Education family of schools in 2009 and benefits from the opportunities for collaboration it brings, as well as our shared philosophy of ambition and inspiration.

Our students can enhance their learning by networking with international peers through Global Campus and participating in educational programmes with world-renowned institutions, such as Juilliard, MIT and UNICEF. Our dynamic collaborations enable learners of all ages to explore new topics and challenge themselves further through exciting projects.

Global Campus

Global Campus, Nord Anglia Education’s bespoke online platform, is a place where learning is enriched through interactions with students from different countries and continents. The platform features a wide variety of educational activities, projects and competitions for primary and secondary school students. Students can participate, collaborate and learn with international classmates at sister schools from the Nord Anglia Education family. In this way, they not only acquire new knowledge and skills, but exchange ideas and make friends with peers from around the world. To learn more, please visit:  Global Campus.

The Performing Arts with Juilliard

The Juilliard School in New York is a world leader in performing arts education. At Collège Champittet, your child’s education in the performing arts is enhanced by teaching materials, creative activities and resources designed by Juilliard. Students are led through explorations of core works of music, dance and drama, and there is an emphasis on building students’ personal artistry through their own creativity.

Along with the enhanced curriculum, our students enjoy visits and performances from Juilliard artists and curriculum specialists. They also have the opportunity to take part in Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard. This summer programme is an immersive experience in which students engage deeply in music, dance or drama, and make lasting connections with like-minded students from across the world.

In addition, our teachers have many opportunities for professional development with Juilliard. This ensures that teaching standards remain at the highest level and that students are inspired to develop and pursue a love for the performing arts.

STEAM Skills with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics make up the STEAM subjects. Our interdisciplinary approach to teaching science and technology gives your child the skills needed to thrive in the 21st century.

At Collège Champittet, our students and teachers work with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world’s most influential universities, to introduce this innovative way of learning the STEAM subjects. Students are encouraged to be creative and experimental. Through practical, hands-on problem solving, they learn how to develop resourcefulness and apply their skills to real-world situations.

Our collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) includes student visits to the prestigious university as well as regional conferences and in-school challenges, which encourage students to work together to find innovative and creative solutions to complex problems.

As part of this partnership, our STEAM teachers regularly participate in workshops at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). These workshops expose them to the forefront of STEAM research and thinking, so they can bring this knowledge into the classroom.

Inspiring Your Child to Take Action with UNICEF

Our collaboration with UNICEF raises the social consciousness of our students, so that they care more deeply about the world and the people in it. Through this programme, our students gain real-world insight into international social issues and become part of the solution.

Students are taught to research and debate challenges facing our society, and to develop meaningful action to address these challenges in their local communities. Some of the topics that students may work on include recycling, renewable energy, the fight against poverty and other issues highlighted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Our students are invited to express their concerns both locally and globally. Each year, they have the opportunity to engage with and influence world leaders at regional and global summits with UNICEF and the United Nations. By the time they graduate from Collège Champittet, our students will be prepared to make their voices heard on the world stage and to make a lasting, positive difference.
