Secondary Update – From Mr Simon Graves 19/02/2016

19 February 2016

A very happy new year to you all, and welcome back to all the staff and students after what I hope was a wonderful Tet break. I was fortunate enough to stay around Ho Chi Minh City with my family over the holiday, and it was a great opportunity to truly explore the city and discover more of its heritage and its secrets.  I was reminded again of how lucky we are to be here in your wonderful  country.

Having finished the Year of the Goat on such a high with an amazing Tet Assembly, we start the Year of the Monkey, as always, with plenty going on. Over the next two weeks we have a number of important after school events, which we hope you are able to attend where appropriate:

Tuesday, 23rd February – Year 11 parents’ evening

Thursday, 25th February – Year 13 parents’ evening

Tuesday, 1st  March – Year 12 parents’ evening

Secondary Update – From Mr Simon Graves 19/02/2016

These will give you the opportunity to discuss your child’s recent mock examination results with their class teachers, as well as any other issues you may have.

Thursday, 3rd March – Year 9 & Year 11 Options Evening. This is a vitally important evening to discuss with subject teachers what subjects your child may want to study next year at iGCSE and A level. Options will be decided in the week following this meeting, so it is really important that you come along and meet with teachers at that time.

Secondary Update – From Mr Simon Graves 19/02/2016

More details of all of these events will be sent out via CHQ and email in the coming week.

Have a lovely weekend.
