Mrs Emily’s visit was full of memorable moments of a modern, friendly, inspirational learning environment and the students’ enthusiasm and confidence in learning.
It was a great pleasure for BVIS HCMC to welcome the visit of Mrs Emily Hamblin, British Consul General cum Director of Trade and Investment in Vietnam to school on Wednesday 11th November 2020.
Mrs Hamblin was met by our school leaders - Mr Simon Higham, Principal; Mrs Mary McAloon, Head of Primary and Mr Jack Rudin, Head of Secondary who welcomed her to our school and discussed the unique bilingual international education that BVIS offers for all students.
Her visit gave us the opportunity to introduce Ms Hamblin to our school, meet our incredible students and teachers and tour our large campus with modern facilities, which was purposely designed to allow us to offer the very best in educational opportunity and provision.
Ms Hamblin spent most time of her visit witnessing the exciting learning and teaching across Early Years, Primary and Secondary classes. The unique educational model combining the highly regarded National Curriculum of England with a Vietnamese perspective, ensure that her visit was full of memorable moments of students’ enthusiasm and confidence in bilingual, international learning. Mrs Emily’s visit to BVIS was a coincidence with the Remembrance Day in the UK and other countries around the world. Following a shared minute silence together to commemorate Remembrance Day, Mr Simon sent a huge thanks to Mrs Hamblin for her visit, while highlighting the continuous efforts from BVIS in further enhancing the educational quality, especially as the school approaches the 10th year anniversary of its opening this year!
