Mel Curtis joined La Côte International School in 2018, after successfully leading two Nord Anglia Education schools in recent years: The English International School Prague and the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park.
Mel's educational leadership focuses on creating a school culture centered around enquiry-based learning, innovation and initiative. As a passionate educator, Mel brings to La Côte International School more than 18 years in strategic educational leadership with international experience in her native England as well as France and the United Arab Emirates. Prior to joining Nord Anglia Education in 2015, she led academic integration at Ecole des Roches, one of France's most prestigious private schools, and has been the head teacher at elite primary and K-12 schools in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East. Her highly successful track record includes expertise in quality assurance, increased student attainment, student-centered learning and curriculum development.
