Learning Continuity at ICS

I just wanted to let you know that early years and infants teachers are amazing. They’ve sent so many fun activities and good morning videos and videos of themselves singing or reading. It’s so kind and selfless. It is obvious how much they care . My girls are loving it. It definitely helps “normalize” an unprecedented situation 😍
Learning Continuity at ICS Even off-campus, our learning continues full-steam ahead.

Due to recent events, last week we unexpectedly found ourselves at home. However, we are staying on-track with the curriculum and couldn’t be prouder of the way our students are studying at home using our e-learning platforms.

What does e-learning look like at ICS?

Students and teachers are connecting virtually using many on line platforms. All our students follow a daily routine, just as though they were physically going to school. In the Primary School, teachers are using Seesaw, where they post videos, read stories and develop math skills through cooking. In Secondary School, teachers are connecting with the students via ManageBac, an IB learning platform used regularly at ICS. They are setting tasks and interacting with class groups using Kahoot, EdPuzzle and other digital experiences to keep everyone engaged.

During this unusual time, our students have shown that they are up to the challenge of learning and progressing at home – in all of their subjects!

After the first few days of our Learning Continuity Plans, Parents also shared their feedback with us:

We know these are challenging times for all of our students, parents and teachers and we thank you all for your continued support.
