THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF MOSCOW’S ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The International School of Moscow (ISM) is proud to be a fully inclusive school that is open to children aged from 2 to 18. We accept applications all year round and new students can start at any time.

Your journey to ISM starts with our Admissions Team, who will guide you through our entry requirements and application process. They’ll also arrange an in-person tour of our campuses – which is the best way to get feel for the education we offer – or schedule a virtual meeting.

After speaking to our team and taking a tour – either in person or virtually – you’ll need to complete your child’s online application form. You’ll also need to supply copies of your child’s school reports from the last two years (in English). We’ll need the email address of a class teacher, form tutor, or Head of Year from your child’s current school, too, so that we can ask for a reference.

We will then invite your family to an interview with either our Rosinka or Krylatskoe Head of Campus. This is a chance to ask questions, find out more about our school, and discuss your child’s learning needs, preferences, and goals.

Our fantastic English as an Additional Language (EAL) teachers support students with limited, little, or even no English. They organise one-to-one or small group sessions, as well as offering help in lessons. Places on our EAL programme are limited, however, so please speak to the ISM Admissions Team when you first contact us.

Our dedicated SEN teams create tailored programmes for students who need additional support. This is fully personalised to each child’s needs and preferences, offering a combination of help in lessons and one-to-one sessions. Please get in touch with us to talk about how we can support your child.
