At the International School of Moscow, we are proud to support Anti-Bullying Week and the children participated in a range of activities school-wide to raise awareness. ‘Odd Socks Day’ on the 14th of November marked the beginning of this week and the main focus this year was to ‘Reach Out!’.

The aim of this week was to encourage students to come forward about bullying, highlight the effects of bullying, asking what we can do to stop it and discuss how could each one of us can make a difference.

The International School of Moscow continues to highlight the importance of being a good friend and supporting others within the school.

Bullying is taken very seriously, but as a school, we always aim to be proactive, rather than reactive. Through events such as Anti-Bullying Week, weekly assemblies and during PSHE lessons, students are encouraged to discuss this topic openly.

Students at the school often comment on how well they are supported by their peers and the staff.
