Our house system
Our House system fosters a sense of identity and community spirit, ensuring every student feels like they're part of something special.
At ISM, our House names and colours are:
- Normans - red.
- Romans - blue.
- Saxons - green.
- Vikings - yellow.
How it works
Our House system comprises two parts:
- A merit system, where students gain points based on their progress and efforts across all aspects of school life.
- Inter-House competitions, such as sports days, swimming galas, poetry, and music competitions.
We believe that great efforts should be rewarded and recognised. Our House point system encourages high standards and positive action throughout the year, and are only awarded when students do their very best.
The whole school is involved in the merit system, and each teacher, assistant teacher, and staff members are assigned a House. Each week, total House point scores are collected from both campuses. A shield is then awarded to the winning House at the end of the year.
