Andres Felipe Gil Zapata

Spanish Teacher
Andres Felipe Gil Zapata - Andres Felipe Gil Zapata
Andrés began his teaching career in 2010, but it was in 2013 when he made the life-changing decision to move from Medellín, Colombia, to Moscow, Russia.

For Andrés, this move was about more than just a job,it was the fulfilment of a long-held dream to share his language and culture with people from a completely different part of the world.

Teaching Spanish, for Andrés, is about much more than grammar and vocabulary. He firmly believes that learning a language is inextricably linked to understanding and appreciating the culture behind it.

This conviction shapes his entire approach in the classroom. He encourages active participation and strives to create an inclusive atmosphere where every student feels welcome and motivated to speak.

For Andrés, the most rewarding moment as a teacher is witnessing a student gain the confidence to communicate in Spanish, knowing he has helped them build a bridge to a new world of experiences and connections.
