Mr Conor O'Carroll

Year 3 Teacher
Mr Conor O'Carroll - Mr Conor OCarroll

Conor began his career in education in Japan in 2015 before moving to Moscow in 2020 to pursue his goal of becoming a Primary School educator. After a brief period in South Korea, he returned to Moscow in 2024 and is thrilled to be part of the dynamic and forward-thinking team at Rosinka.

Conor's teaching philosophy centres on empowering children to take ownership of their learning, guiding them to explore their own interests as much as possible. He strongly believes in the transformative power of self-belief, fostering a compassionate classroom environment, and committing to small, sustainable improvements over time.

His experience in Japan and South Korea has given him a deep appreciation for academic achievement in other cultures, which he integrates with global values of inclusivity, respect, and a strong moral commitment to helping others.

Originally from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Conor is proud of both his Yorkshire upbringing and his Irish heritage—though neither has brought him much footballing success, he remains hopeful. In his free time, Conor enjoys playing and watching ice hockey, running, and writing haiku.
