Thomas joins ISM Moscow as an experienced History teacher, bringing a rich background in international education. He holds a BA in Politics and Social Science from the UK, followed by a PGCE from Manchester Metropolitan University. Over the years, Thomas has taught in London, Vietnam, Malaysia, and for the past eight years, in Moscow, a city he has come to love.
With extensive experience across multiple curricula, including the UK and IB programs, Thomas has also held leadership roles as Department Head and Safeguarding Lead, alongside coaching football. He believes in fostering a classroom environment where critical thinking and curiosity drive learning, and where students are encouraged to connect historical understanding to the world around them. His approach emphasizes inclusivity, engagement, and developing lifelong learners.
Outside the classroom, Thomas is passionate about sports, particularly football and cricket, and enjoys exploring new destinations, whether travelling internationally or discovering hidden gems across Russia.
