Being part of Nord Anglia Education also opens up our students to opportunities and learning practices that will boost confidence. Whether it’s giving them the confidence to invent things for the future through STEAM initiatives with MIT, or the conviction to take part in expeditions in new cultures, NAE’s approach encourages students to take steps beyond their comfort zone.
At BSY we want to instil confidence in the whole community, and not just the students. Teachers and parents are powerful role models and if they are confident, it has an impact on the children who learn by example. It is empowering for students to see their peers, teachers and parents trying new activities, getting involved and sharing successes.
Our success as a school is largely down to our world-class teachers and we are committed to supporting them inside and outside of the classroom. As well as providing professional development and training opportunities, we encourage them to have the confidence to come up with new ideas and challenge outdated ways of working.
