To celebrate Science Week our Science Department invited John Dunbar from NUI Galway to visit. John is renowned in the area of venom studies and biochemistry and the use of venom. He was able to teach our students about evolution and biodiversity in different ecosystems throughout the world.
Students had the opportunity to hold a tarantula, a gecko and observe how a python moves and much more. John has worked with exotic animals for 20 years in Venezuela and our students really enjoyed meeting his 'friends'
