Early Years Campus Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

We are thrilled to share the highlights of last week's Enrichment Week, filled with incredible adventures and unforgettable experiences for your children. From Sea Scouts to Animal Adventures, vibrant performances to creative art projects, it was a week that ignited their imaginations and brought lots of joy and laughter. Here's a glimpse into the exciting activities that took place:

🌊🚣‍♂️ Splashing Success at Sea Scouts

Our Year 1 children kicked off the week with an amazing time at Sea Scouts. They splashed through the water, learning important safety and life-saving skills. Despite the temperamental weather, the skies cleared, ensuring a memorable and action-packed experience for all.

🎪🎠 Exploring Kiztopia's Wonders

Meanwhile, our Reception children had a blast exploring the various zones of Kiztopia. Their curiosity knew no bounds as they delved into the different play areas, discovering new adventures at every turn. It was a day filled with laughter, exploration, and boundless joy.

🐍🦔🦎 Animal Adventures Up Close

Tuesday brought an exciting opportunity for the children to get up close and personal with some remarkable animals through Animal Adventures. From snakes and ferrets to hedgehogs and lizards, the children listened with enthusiasm as each animal was described, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the natural world.

🐷🎭 Vibrant Performances and Creative Art

Wednesday was a day of vibrant performances and creative expression. The children were enthralled by a thrilling rendition of "The 3 Little Pigs" performed by Dovetales. Their engagement and fascination with the show was truly wonderful to witness. Additionally, the children showcased their artistic talents by designing and painting their own Tote bags in the Art session. The pride in their eyes as they brought their finished artwork home today was priceless.

💦💧 Water Fun Day and Tea Ceremony

Thursday brought the water indoors as we had a delightful Water Fun Day with the children. Laughter filled the air as they squirted, splashed, and explored various water activities with Ms. Nixon. Additionally, the children engaged in a beautiful tea ceremony during their Chinese lesson, where every single student took part and tasted the tea, embracing the cultural experience with grace and curiosity.

🎉🧺 Showcase and Picnic Finale

The week culminated on Friday with our eagerly anticipated Showcase and Picnic. Despite the challenging weather, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you for turning up and supporting the children. Your presence and encouragement made the day truly special for our young performers, and we are grateful for your unwavering support.

Save the Date: International Day, 7th June

Looking ahead, we have another exciting event on the horizon. International Day is fast approaching, and we are thrilled to invite you to our next Parent Partnership as we plan for our International Week. Ms. Lewsey will be reaching out soon, seeking volunteers "from all around the world" to support this week-long celebration, with a special focus on June 7th. On this day, we will dress up and celebrate our wonderful diverse and vibrant community, embracing the richness of our school community.

Enrichment Week was a resounding success, and we are grateful for your support in making it a truly memorable experience. Two trips had to be rescheduled due to the poor weather and Ms Millington and Ms Griffin will be communicating the new dates with you shortly. We look forward to the upcoming adventures and celebrations that lie ahead!
