Monday 5th October β Y6 Netball Friendly with Shrewsbury International School
Thursday 8th October β U11 Netball and Football Friendly Fixtures with Kellet School
Secondary Match Reports β Alex Wiltshire
U16 Girls Netball
The U16 Girls demonstrated exceptional resilience and determination during their home fixture against CDNIS. With only seven players available for the match, the team rose to the challenge and secured an impressive victory, winning by more than double their opponents' score.
Several players stepped outside of their usual positions to support the team, adapting admirably while maintaining a high standard of netball throughout the game. It was particularly pleasing to see the players effectively apply the skills, strategies, and court systems developed during training sessions.
We are incredibly proud of the commitment, teamwork, and resilience shown by the entire squad. Their positive attitude and willingness to support one another were key factors in their success and reflect the values we strive to develop through school sport.

U14 Boys Football
It was an absolute goal bonanza for the U14 Boys this week as the Knights put on a masterclass against DSC. The attacking display was relentless, winning 15-2, with Ethan (4) and Kris (4) leading the charge, each securing impressive quad-tricks and more. Alex also netted 3, while Sihoon grabbed 2. Oscar and Sherdan completed the scoring with a goal apiece in a dominant team performance. This emphatic victory secures the Knights' place in the playoffs, where they are hungry to avenge previous defeats against top-tier opposition. A fantastic team effort, well done!
U14 Girls Football
In challenging hot and humid conditions, our U14 girls controlled the ball and territory against Harrow.
The first period saw a lot of possession but little threat on the Harrow goal. After the hydration break the teams attacking play moved up a gear and the team went into half time leading 2-0.
The second half continued in similar fashion with little threat against the NAIS HK goal and our team controlling the game.
Helvetia was rewarded with her ever-present running to latch onto a pass and squeeze the ball in the far corner, playing out of position in attack, scoring her first goal for the school late on. Lots of player rotation in the heat and mixing of positions for players to develop their footballing education on the pitch.
6-0 was the final score and the team look forward to their final game of the regular season next week ahead of the finals.
U16 Girls Volleyball
The U16 Girls Volleyball team put in a strong, hard-fought performance against DC. The sets were closely contested, but in the end, DC edged the match.
In the second match against HKA, the girls showed real resilience and teamwork, winning 2β0 in tough, competitive sets.
Highlights included some great spikes from Roni and Scarlett, and excellent set-ups from Chloe at the net, helping our attackers find the right moments.
Unfortunately, this result leaves us 6th in the table, missing out on the playoffs. However, the commitment, resilience, and team spirit shown across both matches was brilliantβwell played, girls!
