What a joyful and memorable week we have just shared together at NAIS HK, Sai Kung! It has been full of enthusiasm, teamwork, and proud moments for our children—and none more so than our wonderful Early Years Sports Day last Friday morning.
Early Years Sports Day – A Morning to Remember
Sports Day truly was a marvelous celebration of physical activity, effort, resilience, and fun. The children enthusiastically took part in a range of activities including throwing, balancing, egg-and-spoon races, agility challenges, an obstacle course, and finally the much anticipated running race. Every child gave it their very best—and we could not be prouder.
What stood out most was the incredible determination and enjoyment shown by our children. Even when there were a few inevitable wobbles, the children showed courage and perseverance, picking themselves up and carrying on. These moments are just as important as crossing the finish line—they are powerful life lessons which support resilience, confidence, and believing in oneself.
The sense of teamwork within our House Teams was wonderful to see, with children encouraging one another every step of the way. Learning to give something a go, are such valuable skills for our young learners.
A huge thank you to all our parents and carers who joined us and cheered so enthusiastically—you truly made the morning extra special, and the children felt every bit of your encouragement. We also loved seeing so many parents joining in our Parent Races—thank you for taking part and sharing in the fun!
A special thank you to Mrs. Mertz for organising the whole event and we would also like to extend a big thank you to our PTA, who kindly provided delicious fruit snacks to keep our children energised and smiling throughout the morning. It really was a special and unforgettable event for our whole school community.

Enrichment Week – A Week of Discovery & Creativity
Next week we are thrilled to be launching our much anticipated Enrichment Week, filled with creativity, curiosity, and exploration.
The week begins with the fantastic Dovetails Theatre Company, setting the tone for an inspiring few days ahead. Children will also enjoy the Discovery Dome, Wellbeing Wednesday and outdoor adventures with Wild Explorers at Lions Nature Park. Throughout the week, our specialist teachers from Lam Tin will also be leading enriching Drama, Art, and Music sessions for all the children; as they explore curiosity, creativity and self-expression through the performing arts.
