Dear Parents,
Welcome back!
We hope you had a restful Easter break. It has been a joy to see the children return to school looking refreshed, settled, and ready for the exciting final stretch of our school year.
A Wonderful End to Term 2: Picnic in the Playground Showcase

Before the holiday, we ended Term 2 on a truly uplifting note with our Picnic in the Playground Showcase. Thank you, sincerely, to all the parents and carers who joined us—it was a wonderful celebration of your children’s talents and a beautiful way to close out a fantastic second term together.
It was heart-warming to watch the children perform with such confidence and joy. We enjoyed a vibrant variety of performances including class singing, individual singing and dancing, Taekwondo, drumming—with three drummers performing and filling the playground with rhythm—and piano performances. It was especially lovely to hear each class sing and perform together.
What stood out most was not only the wonderful talents on display, but also the joy of sharing learning and performing for an audience. These experiences help children build confidence and pride in their achievements, while also learning to celebrate one another.
A special thank you to our PTA for donating Easter eggs. The children had a wonderful time taking part in the Easter Egg Hunt before the holiday—it was full of excitement, teamwork, and big smiles.
Term 3 is Underway
We are now back for Term 3—our final term of the year. The children have settled quickly back into routines and friendships, and classrooms are already buzzing with curiosity and enthusiasm.
World Book Day
This week we celebrate World Book Day, highlighting the importance of stories, language, and imagination. Sharing books supports children’s language development, listening skills, empathy, and creativity, and helps to nurture a lifelong love of reading. We invite children to come into school on Thursday dressed up as their favourite book character, and an optional donation of 20 HKD will go towards supporting children across Hong Kong to enjoy wonderful books.
World Earth Day – Life Below Sea
We are also marking World Earth Day. This term our environmental learning focus is the Sustainable Development Goal - Life Below Sea. Living in Hong Kong, we are surrounded by beautiful coastal environments and marine life. Through this focus, children will explore why oceans are important and how we can care for the natural world around us, helping them understand that even small actions can make a positive difference.
