Dear Parents,

Primary Campus Weekly Update 7 Sep 2026 - Primary Campus Weekly Update 7 Sep 2026

Parent-Teacher Meetings

We would like to thank all parents who attended our Parent-Teacher Meetings last week. It was wonderful to see so many families engaging with teachers, both in person and virtually, to discuss their children's progress and experiences at the start of the academic year.

These meetings provide a valuable opportunity for meaningful collaboration between home and school. We greatly appreciate the time taken by parents to participate in these conversations and look forward to continuing to work together throughout the year.

Global Campus Assembly

On Tuesday, our students attended their first Global Campus Assembly, where they learned about the many exciting opportunities available through the Global Campus programme.

Over the year, students will have the chance to engage in a range of competitions, challenges, and collaborative projects with pupils from Nord Anglia schools around the world. We are incredibly fortunate to be part of the Nord Anglia Education family, giving our students access to exclusive opportunities through Global Campus, including collaborations with world-leading organisations such as MIT, The Juilliard School, UNICEF, and many others. We are also looking forward to appointing our new Global Campus Ambassadors over the next few weeks and are excited to see pupils step forward for these opportunities.

Annie the Musical Auditions

Today, over 100 students in Years 4, 5, and 6 signed up for the opportunity to audition for our upcoming production of Annie the Musical.

School productions provide a wonderful platform for children to develop confidence, creativity, collaboration, and performance skills. We were incredibly impressed by the enthusiasm and courage shown by all students who auditioned and look forward to seeing the production take shape over the coming months.

Exciting Residential Opportunities Ahead

Looking ahead, students in Years 3 and 4 will take part in a presentation from our residential partners, Hutong, on Tuesday. This session will introduce children to the exciting experiences and adventures that await them during their upcoming residential programme in Hong Kong.

Following the student presentation, virtual parent information sessions will be held on Tuesday afternoon to provide families with further details and answer any questions. Residential experiences are a valuable part of our wider curriculum, offering opportunities for children to develop independence, resilience, teamwork, and confidence beyond the classroom and we highly encourage all to take advantage of this enriching opportunity!

Coding Week

Next week, we are excited to celebrate Coding Week across the Primary School. Students will take part in a variety of engaging computing activities, including exciting live House competitions that combine learning, teamwork, and healthy competition. By bringing together our House system and Computing curriculum, we hope to inspire students to challenge themselves, develop their digital skills, and engage enthusiastically with coding. We look forward to seeing plenty of creativity, collaboration, and house spirit on display throughout the week.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we can ensure that every child enjoys a successful, engaging, and rewarding year filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
