Celebrating Diversity at NAIS Pudong!

International week at Nord Anglia International School Shanghai, Pudong is always an opportunity to celebrate andhighlight our school's diversity by focusing on different nationalities and languages spoken in the school.We encouraged every member of our community to actively participate, understand and open the mind to not only our differences but to what makes us ONE.

Each day brought a focus of our main teaching languages – English, Chinese, Spanish, French and German. Lunch menus were changed, and students and teachers collaborated to decorate their rooms and deliver creative lessons to boost their confidence in expressing themselves in various languages. 

The celebrations also included an exhibition match between our unbeaten Under 19 football team and the teachers, making it a thrilling experience to watch for the whole school to watch. The students were victorious with a final minute goal, with the final result being 3 – 2 to the students.

Our International Week closed with a picnic and games outside inviting our parent community to join in the celebrations and it was a memorable way for our Year 13 students to end their final teaching day at NAIS. We wish them good luck as they are about to begin their period of IB examinations.
