Congratulations to Tyler, who achieved A* grades in both IGCSE Business Studies and Geography!
Tyler joined NAIS Pudong in Year 7 and has consistently demonstrated a passion for humanities subjects. He believes that hard work and study are essential to success, but what truly sets him apart is his genuine love for these areas of learning. For Tyler, Geography and Business Studies never felt like a chore, but rather an exciting opportunity to understand the world and the people in it. This enthusiasm not only made revision enjoyable but also helped him retain knowledge more effectively.
Beyond the classroom, Tyler has been an active member of school life. He has taken part in student leadership, the academic challenge team, the debate team and Model United Nations, all of which have helped him to sharpen his communication skills and connect his academic interests to real-world discussions. He has also gained valuable experience in public speaking through assemblies, showing his ability to lead and inspire others.
At NAIS Pudong, we are proud to support students who are drawn to people-focused subjects such as Geography and Business Studies. These subjects allow students to be curios about human interactions, society and the world around us, giving them opportunities to explore global issues in the classroom and through enrichment such as MUN, debates and leadership roles. Many of our humanities students go on to pursue university studies and careers in fields such as business, international relations, law and global development.
Looking ahead, Tyler plans to study Business Management at university in the UK, with aspirations to explore areas such as strategy and entrepreneurship, and to build the skills needed to lead and succeed in the business world.
We are proud of Tyler’s excellent achievements and excited to see his future successes.
