Launching NAS Jakarta Book Week 2020 (Monday 27 – Friday 30 April). Our theme for this year is ‘Curious Creatures, Wild Minds’ and although we are not in school, we still have an action-packed week of great book related learning and activities ahead.

NAS Jakarta took part in a STEAM challenge set by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), in conjunction with Nord Anglia University. The challenge was for students to create a compelling image with a new perspective that will engage and inform the viewer. They will capture a compelling scientific image that, when paired with explanatory text, conveys a complex concept.

Polar Bears have been learning about Valentines Day and the history behind it.

NAS Jakarta was really lucky to have scientists from Science Made Simple come and share their enthusiasm and knowledge with our students.

Over the last couple of weeks, Year 3 have spent time learning about technology including how to programme and control robots using the Wonder Software.

Sinterklaas had visited each class in NAS Jakarta and left some special pepernoten and chocolate treats inside a big wellington boot for all the children to enjoy.

Our Early Years Cubs are very proud to be our little animals and so decided to perform some special songs as a celebration of the wonder of the animal kingdom.
